Dreambert and Bedsmith, two creatures of the Pi’illo species, wake up one morning without a memory of who they are, where they are, or how they arrive. They find themselves in a strange house in an unfamiliar city, feeling lost and confused. Just as panic occurs, a special man named Wonki appears, claiming to be their father. He suggests that they must have diluted as they watch TV the previous night, but before he can explain more, the situation becomes even more sophisticated. A creature named Starlow, of the Star Sprite species, arrives, insisting that he is their friend. She says they had plans to hang, but the dream and Bedsmith have no memory of her or such plans. They reluctantly follow Starlow from the outside, insecure in their environment. They wander around the city, act as if they do not recognize neither the environment nor Starlow. Despite her confusion, Starlow continues to interact with them as if they were friends for a long time. As he shows them around, Starlowe patiently explains his alleged friendship and their names, trying to calm them down. However, Dreambert and Bedsmith remain disoriented and cannot make sense of their past or relationship with Starlow. As the day goes on, Starlow becomes more and more concerned, initially thinking that they just pretend to forget. But as their strange behavior continues, she begins to worry that something serious is wrong with their memories. At the end of the day, Starlow’s uncertainty deepens, and she wonders if there is more behind their oblivion. Dreambert and Bedsmith are sent back to the house, where they first woke up, and Wingky-Cill claim to be their father who provides them with a bed that feels unknown. Too tired and confused to protest, they settle for the night. As they fall asleep, their minds are fraught with questions about their identity, their past and the reason for their sudden amnesia. The mystery of their lost memories is emerging unanswered as they are worn in a restless dream, uncertain what the future has.
